PSC CEMENT

Portland Slag Cement (PSC) is an intimately inter ground mixture of Portland cement Clinker & granulated slag (Non-metallic) which is a byproduct of steel plant. The same is termed as Portland Slag Cement & is confirming to IS 455:1989.

 

It has highly corrosive resistance power & massive later days strength is achieved due to high fineness & higher glass content in slag... Hence it can be widely used in marine construction & deep foundations.

Bagalkot PSC has a 28-days compressive strength of more than 480 Kg/cm2, as against BIS standard of 28-days compressive strength of: 330 Kg/cm2.
