Products

We are manufacturing two types of Cement, under the brand name "Bagalkot Supreme" (Ordinary Portland Cement 43 grade conforming IS-8112-1989) and "Bagalkot Shakti" (Portland Slag Cement conforming to IS-455-1989). "Bagalkot Supreme" is a Ordinary Portland Cement 43 grade conforming to IS-8112-1989, manufactured by grinding rich quality Portland Cement clinker, Gypsum in auto controlled ball mill for higher fineness to achieve high initial compressive strength properties. "Bagalkot Shakti" is a Portland Slag Cement conforming to IS 455 - 1989 manufactured with rich quality Portland Cement Clinker, granulated blast furnace Slag with high glass content and gypsum in correct measured proportions in auto controlled cement mills. Physical Properties of Bagalkot Shakti Cement in comparison to minimum requirements for IS-455 1989 (Portland Slag Cement) & IS-8112-1989 Ordinary Portland Cement 43-grade. All vital parameters are maintained well above the specifications laid out by 'Bureau of Indian Standards'.

The chemical composition of slag comprises of Cao-38%, SiO2 - 34% and Mgo - less than 8%, which confirms more amount of lime than Silica required for highest hydraulic reactivity. Slag reduces the water demand of Cement as a consequence of the nature of the glassy surface and in turn increases strength of concrete.

The chloride values in Cement are less than 0.03, makes concrete better resistant towards domestic chloride attack & foreign chloride attack (which are generally present in water and soil)
