About Us

Bagalkot Cement and Industries Ltd. (BCIL) is a Kanoria Group Initiative that was incorporated in 2007 to acquire the cement division of Bagalkot Udyog Ltd.

BCIL manufactures two classes of cement – BAGALKOT SHAKTI and BAGALKOT SUPREME with four decades of technical expertise, innovation, quality control and professionalism.

It is one of the best cement manufacturing units in the North Karnataka.

The cement factory started in 1955 with the wet process Kiln of 300-tpd capacity.

It was converted to a dry process Kiln in 1982. Currently the plant manufactures 297,000 TPA of Cement.

Social Responsibility

The Kanoria Management is continuously keeping in mind its Social obligation, and is running a full-fledged school (LKG to VII Std. English medium) for the employees’ children and a club for our workmen, employees and their children. We have also constructed and are maintaining a temple for the population in the nearby city. The company is actively participating in the welfare measures such as installation of water pumps sets, bus shelters etc., in and around Bagalkot City.
